Since Criq decided to talk about the songwriting and the music I felt like I should do the same with the lyrics.

Welcome back! I'd like to thank everyone who wrote a comment or sent me an email. I'm glad everyone enjoys the blogs and the tastes of the new songs.

Today we'll go through the writing and recording process of the second song on the album: Mother.

Hello everyone,

As I mentioned in the previous blog, we’ll go track by track and together, we’ll discover every element of the album. How the record was made: from the first demo I wrote through the recording process; what influenced me at the time and how I tried to put that into the music.

We're back in Montreal after ten days on the road. It was so good to be touring again! We've been rehearsing the new songs for the last two months and it was a great opportunity for us to try them live. So far, the response has been awesome! You guys really loved the heaviest song on the album: "Slow Motion Car Crash". And of course "No Tomorrow", the groovy-scary song that will make you wanna dance all night!

From November 2007 to February 2008 the band has been very busy working on new demos that became songs and then these, in the end, formed our new album: "Tales From The City".

Well, well, here we are back on the road again. I wanted to write this 6 days ago but I just got caught up in this crazy never-ending roller coster.
I gotta tell you though, it's so good to be back playing live. We started the tour in Edmonton 6 days ago. As soon as we were out of the plane we got right into a van and got straight to the festival site and haven't stopped since.

There are new photos online from the recording session for the new album. They were taken at our studio, over the winter. Dom was usually behind the lens and managed to capture us in hibernation/recording mode. Enjoy them!

Thanks to the chaos of co-ordinating between different online stores, the rest of the world is shut out - but thats only temporary. Its going to be available everywhere in a few weeks. Thanks for being patient! :)

There's a new Mobile video online. Its of us over the past few months over 30 brief seconds. :) And just to make it slightly sweeter the bit of a song you hear as you watch it is from the soon to be released song 'The Killer'. Enjoy! :)

The album is done!!!

We've finished the mix and the master, and we are working on the artwork.

We also spent the weekend working with a great group of people on a video to go with the first song you're all going to hear from the album... THE KILLER. It won't be long now.

I feel extremely excited about the new songs, and I know none of us can wait to get back on the road and start sharing the music with you.
